Why is good leadership important?

Do you sometimes get annoyed by bad leadership around you? It is still by far the main reason people leave companies – and the good ones leave first.
But good leadership is not wizardry. You only need two requirements to learn it – you have to want to learn it and you have to like people. Because we aren’t machines, we are people.

At the beginning of my career I managed 6 people as a first-time leader. Later I managed circa 12,000 as a board member for Europe.



I am a catalyst for good leadership. I have had 16 different bosses, 16 women and men, from whom I have learned. And I have been very fortunate to have some fantastic supervisors who have challenged and encouraged me, who have critiqued and praised me, who have always given me a little more responsibility than I thought I could bear.

I have just completed the LEITWOLF Academy and can only highly recommend it. Why did I find it so valuable? Firstly, it encapsulates 30+ years of Stefan’s leadership and strategy learnings and expertise gained from his time in progressive executive leadership roles at P&G, and other global companies, packed into a hands on leadership training course.
